Mark Letson began his career in the Charlotte, NC office in 1991, booking ECE’s roster of exclusive bands, then moving to Atlanta to develop the company’s National Talent Buying Division in 1994. Since 2000, Mark has been based out of ECE’s headquarters and in 2016, Mark was invited to become a Managing Director at ECE. He is an active member of IEBA (International Entertainment Buyers Association) and his accolades include IEBA College Buyer of the year in 2012 and IEBA Corporate Buyer of the year (five time nominee and three time winner 2014, 2016, and 2022).

Mark’s role as Managing Director for ECE’s National Division entails finding the right act for each event and negotiating the best deal possible. He finds the most suitable artists available based on the type of event, budget, target demo and locale. Mark helps the client through the process of choosing the best band for the event, making an offer, negotiating rider requirements, production requirements, travel itineraries, day of show timelines and the countless details in between.

Over the course of Mark’s career, he has booked and produced more than 3000 national artists ranging from legendary artists from Stevie Wonder, Tony Bennett, James Brown, Ray Charles and Steely Dan to contemporary favorites like Justin Timberlake, Maroon 5, One Republic, Zac Brown Band, The Avett Brothers and Tim McGraw. Averaging nearly 200 shows produced annually, this list is only a sampling, but represents the wide array of artists we work with and events that we produce at ECE. From fraternity gigs to fairs, festivals, weekly series, large scale corporate events, product rollouts and private engagements, Mark and the team at ECE can produce anybody, anywhere based on availability, budget, and type of event.
