We could not be more pleased with Diverse Groove's performance! They MADE our daughter's wedding! From the very first song, they had everyone on the dance floor. The band members were engaging and had the crowd going all night. We had seen them at my other daughter's sorority event and had a blast then as well. We would most definitely recommend them and hope to book them when our other kids get married! Please extend our appreciation for a fabulous night.

Diverse Groove was perfection at my daughter's wedding! They not only had amazing musical talent on the stage but they knew how to engage the crowd and keep everyone on the dance floor. The energy they brought to the room was electric. They also did an excellent job at MCing throughout the night. From the special dances, to the bridal party intros, to the cake cutting, to the arrival of our special guest, Mr & Mrs Wuf, to the private last dance for the bride and groom; they navigated it all with professionalism. So many of our guests commented on how much they loved Diverse Groove and in fact, one is hoping to book them for a private event and another for her wedding reception. They were that good! Also, I'd like to add that LaSonda the contact person was fantastic to work with. She returned phone calls promptly and made sure that everything was just the way my daughter wanted. 10+/10 recommend!

Lamar and the band were absolutely the best! From the first song they had the dance floor rocking and we had so much fun! Lasonda was the best to work with! So responsive and made sure everything we wanted was taken care of. I just cannot say enough about Diverse Groove!! If you want the best party time this is the band that will take you there! "We have finally caught our breath from the wedding weekend and now buttoning up our honeymoon details. The entire weekend was far more perfect than we could have imagined, partially due to Diverse Groove Band bringing the ‘party!!’ I was already impressed before the weekend, because they scheduled a few calls to ensure every detail was perfect (we had a few surprises planned). But their enthusiasm and talent is something our friends and family are still talking about! Their energy, professionalism, sequined outfits, dance moves - Everything was perfect, and I’m so glad we chose them as our band. ...My only complaint is that we couldn’t dance and sing until sunrise 😊"

Reid, they were fantastic! From their warmup, I knew we made the right choice. Lamar is enthusiastic and engaging. It’s easy to tell he loves what he does. He got guests on the dance floor from the outset, and the floor was packed all night long. So many people told me it was the best party they had been to. The night was absolutely perfect, and Diverse Groove was a MAJOR part of that. It truly felt like a celebration and Kaitlin was thrilled. Thanks for all your help. Joe

Barry - Hope you had a great holiday season. I just wanted to reach out and send a review of Diverse Groove Band - they performed at my wedding in Blowing Rock, NC on 10/16/21. Diverse Groove made our wedding. We had people coming up to us saying that they would have paid a $50 cover to see this band play. LaSonda was great to coordinate with before our wedding - taking the time to go through our set list and helping to coordinate how we wanted our Reception to be MC'd. Lamar was awesome at getting everyone on the dance floor and dancing around. They played the perfect set of music that got each age group at our wedding up and dancing on the dance floor. They even created a special moment for my husband and I where they played a slow Ed Sheeran song and had everyone dance around us. We could not have asked for a better wedding band and our guest agreed (a few inquiring for their 2022/2023 weddings). Please let me know where else I can provide a great review of this band. Thanks! Diverse Groove hit a home run at our wedding reception! It was one of my favorite nights EVER and this band was one of the reasons. Truly. The playlist was perfect and I appreciated that Lamar Brace had a segment for those guests "over 40" and played a few songs from our era...he was being generous becouse our age bracket was more like over 60!! And the band had to be creative while dealing with the power outage...they stayed calm and kept the fun vibe going. They were AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you!!! This was one of the most memorable nights of our lives. Diverse Groove was amazing and fun. We had a slight power shortage which was easily remediated. The band stayed super cool. This band is THE BEST. Seriously, one of the best nights of our lives. Diverse Groove was amazing. And we had a brief power shortage and the band handles that issue with class and patience. The vocals, musicians and road crew were amazing. We loved every minute. The band was STELLAR.
