Ever since Sam could begin playing an instrument, he’s had a deep love for music and the sense of community that thrives within the artform. This prompted him out of high school to search for programs that would offer him a chance to learn more about audio engineering, the music business itself, and of course offer an engaging environment where he could continue to grow on his instrument. Sam landed at Elon University out of North Carolina, where he studied Music Production and Recording Arts and furthered his studies as a jazz drummer. After graduation, Sam worked as an Assistant Superintendent for a general contractor based out of Fairfax, VA; learning various project management and people skills as it pertains to the commercial construction industry. As fate would have it, an opportunity opened at ECE to work with their ESS team to support their local office on contracts, artists updates, etc. Sam recently moved into a junior agent role on the sales team where he will take more of an active role in helping clients book entertainment for their events.
Outside of work, you can likely find Sam playing an underground DIY venue with his bands around Richmond or hanging with friends.
