John began his career at ECE fresh out of College in 1990 and never looked back. After 15 successful years as an agent, in 2005, John accepted an ownership position with the agency. After opening the agencies Washington, DC location in 2009, John took over permanently as Managing Director of the office in 2013. John continues to call Richmond, VA his home while commuting to the office located in Alexandria, VA.
In his time at ECE, he has been fortunate enough to be a part of many great events ranging from countless weddings, fundraisers, concert series, corporate parties and special events. Some of the highlights include the Grand Opening of Stony Point Fashion Park, North Lake Mall, Taubman Museum of Art and high-profile events for dignitaries and royalty including: VA’s Royal Welcome, Congressional Ball (Inside the White House) for President Bush, many Presidential Inaugural Events, National Chery Blossom Festival and numerous events with major headline acts including Comedian Jeff Foxworthy, Keynote Speaker Karl Rove and Legendary Musicians ranging from Dave Matthews to the late great James Brown. These days his clients entrust John with their events world-wide. John has enjoyed producing International events including many in Canada as well as overseas in Bermuda, Puerto Rico, Cancun, Cayman Islands, Bahamas, Europe (Principality of Monaco) and Africa (Ethiopia). Corporate events have allowed John to use his marketing background to create unique award-winning creative designs for his clients including a really cool James Bond-inspired party with the Bond character arriving by helicopter and rappelling 100 feet on to the deck of a waiting Luxury Yacht! In 2006, John was voted by his peers as National Corporate Entertainment Producer of the Year and won two ISES EVIE awards for the Northlake project.
John continues to serve on the Board of Directors as well as Executive Committee at ECE.
