Barry began his career with ECE in the summer of 1996. By January of the next year, the company believed in him enough to open a Raleigh, NC office. As a former “full-time” road musician for 10 plus years, the natural progression to become a talent agent with this great company has been seamless and has reaped GREAT rewards! So great in fact that in July of 2015, Barry was invited to become a Managing Director at ECE. When he is not busy booking the next big event, you can find him as an active member with the Triangle NACE (National Association for Catering and Events) Chapter in Raleigh participating at meetings and events.
Over the years Barry has been very involved with ECE’s “core business” of providing acts for colleges, nightclubs, country clubs, corporate events, and wedding receptions. He also had the opportunity and privilege to produce national shows with acts like Alan Jackson, Avett Brothers, Snoop Dogg, and Morris Day & The Times, just to name a few.
With many years of playing experience under his belt and still performing in 2 bands, his knowledge of the artist’s side, as well as the agency’s side gives him comfort in knowing that he is very confident in creating events that make memories for a lifetime!
