Unspoken Tradition have been playing the best in North Carolina Mountain Music for years. From Bluegrass to Folk to Irish-tinged fiddle numbers to hip Acoustic tunes made for your moments of revelry or reverence, this band combines positive energy, talent, professionalism and a true taste of the musical heritage of the Appalachian Mountains. Besides being a national touring outfit playing music festivals and venues in both the US and Canada, UT has performed for hundreds of ceremonies, receptions, after parties, cocktail events, corporate gatherings and family gatherings. Highly seasoned at the dynamic aspects needed for your special event they are professional, flexible and above all, fun!
Set lists can generally be tailored to the occasion but the band is steeped in both progressive and traditional Bluegrass and the varieties that apply to the genre although they cover other modern folk/pop favorites. They are all acoustic, all the time so the vibe is very much representative of the true Asheville and surrounding area’s culture, sound and feel. They travel frequently to service markets throughout the southeast including all parts of NC, SC, GA, VA, WV, TN, KY.
