Forming in the summer months of 2011, Pluto for Planet was assembled with a vision: a band of young people that could be musically satisfying for both musicians and listeners, while also being pleasant and easily accessible for venues. Â Pluto for Planet sought to build a brand, utilizing the talent level of its members in combination with hard work and accountability.
In four short years, Pluto for Planet has successfully completed hundreds of bookings, extending from regional level chain venues and special events, to festivals and smaller traditional venues. Â This success is due to the band offering an entertaining, punctual, and dependable product that has become a favorite of listeners and venues alike. Â The band boasts an extremely wide ranging repertoire and as a result, can easily shift between genres, accommodating a modern radio rock and 90’s alternative crowd in the afternoon, and a classic and southern rock crowd later that night. The band places a premium on communication, both between members and from band to venue, assuring the demographic for any location is engaged and entertained.
Pluto for Planet’s commitments extends past being a frequently booked band however – it extends to each other. The shared core vision values that led to the formation of the band have led to the building of a cohesive unit, with extremely few personnel changes. Band members are like family, constantly raising each other’s level of musicianship and operating as a team night in and night out.
