Jacksonville’s own The Ocean Waves Band is known for taking their audiences on a musical journey down through the islands of the Caribbean and Jamaica, back up the Gulfstream to the island of Margaritaville, then on a majestic tour through the ageless years of classic beach music. These varied styles are due in part to bandleader and singer/guitarist Jimmy Parrish’s influence toward a Caribbean, island-flavored, beach theme most noted by the music of you guessed it…..Jimmy Buffett. So it’s no secret the band performs a healthy dose of Buffett tunes, truly tropical and authentic.
