To the most AMAZING band ever...Ronnie, you and the band showed up and showed out!!!! Rick and I (and our guests) truly got our party on. You guys were everything a bride and groom could ask for at their wedding. I want to thank Kim and Eric for introducing us to you guys. From the very first time I saw you, I knew I had to have you guys play at our wedding! It was actually within the first five minutes of hearing your first set at the casino. Just want to let you know your band was amazing Saturday night at our daughter's wedding. I have been to many weddings & I have never seen so many people on the dance floor. Everyone had a great time, the venue was good & the music made the night great! Guests were telling us it was the best wedding they had ever been & the best band. We would like to personally thank you, on behalf of all our friends and family, for the incredible performance that Funktion 11 put on at our wedding on September 25th. From the perspective of the wedding, the band was simply incredible. All band members were beyond professional in attire and approach. They nailed all the classic songs that we would expect to hear at a wedding, in addition to the new-aged songs that had our friends up and dancing. From 2 to 85 years old, all of our guests were on the dance floor enjoying the night. Our friends were blown away when the band members came onto the dance floor to sing and celebrate with us, they truly facilitated the good-time atmosphere we captured at our wedding. On a personal level, Ronnie was excellent with coordinating everything for our special day. Ronnie offered very constructive advice to us, but was never pushy and seamlessly handled any request we had. The band learned new songs for us, maintained the same energy from start to finish, and even accommodated one of the groomsmen performing a song for us. We used Funktion 11 for our ceremonial music, a jazz trio for the cocktail hour, and the full band for the wedding reception, and all of it went perfectly. Ronnie was the emcee for our wedding and he nailed everything we threw his way. I cannot stress enough how perfect Funktion 11 was for our wedding, people are still asking how we found such an incredible group of musicians. The band went above and beyond our expectations, and helped make our wedding the best time of our lives. We appreciate everything Funktion 11 did for us, and we wholeheartedly encourage anybody booking a special event to hire this group.

What a night. Funktion 11 put on the best dance show we've had the privilege of attending.Fifteen months ago, the moment our daughter announced her intention to marry, I went online and found your band. I scoured the web for hours and you all stood out. We ended up changing our date to fit into your schedule. Best decision ever. (Your website didn't begin to scratch the surface of how great you guys are live.)The rhythm section was 'in the pocket' all night long laying down groove after groove. The horns dazzling. The keyboardist virtuosic. And the vocalists sang spot on key with sparkling charisma and energy.The band was tight.... So well drilled and stunningly professional. Number after number rocked the house. The dance floor was so jammed it didn't seem big enough. The chairs were EMPTY. We lost count of guests of all ages gushing "this is the BEST band!" We didn't want it to end.After the party I had the opportunity to connect with many of the players. These conversations explained it all. To a member, each musician talked of their love for music and admiration of their band mates. This is an ensemble of talent drawn from up and down the coast who relish the opportunity to raise the energy of an event to transcendent levels. I was as moved by their humility and dedication to their art as we all were by their performance.The evening is seared on our memories. Funktion 11 band was the perfect choice for our wedding. They're incredible musicians and really know how to get people up and dancing. They learned songs for us, and they played the perfect mix of old and new so everyone had a good time. Their experience with playing weddings was extremely helpful, and Ronnie guided us well in how to make the night flow smoothly. I would highly recommend them to anyone!

Just a quick thank you to let you know that the Funktion 11 Band absolutely ROCKED our wedding reception! After doing a ton of research on bands in the NJ area, I came across Funktion 11 and immediately fell in love with their style. The booming four-piece brass section, coordinated dance moves, stylish outfits, and amazing vocals captivated our audience from start to finish. Ronnie was an absolute pleasure to work with, and he made sure every detail was ironed out before the big day. As the emcee for the evening, he made sure all name pronunciations were 100% correct. All of our requests were performed PERFECTLY. The energy was electric all night long. My father surprised us by singing John Lennon's "Imagine" - he called Ronnie a few days before the wedding to see if he could help with background music. The band made sure that the right key was selected for my father, and they made his performance an unforgettable moment in my life. Ronnie also performed an amazing Horah for us during the reception. He even brought in a friend of his from Brooklyn to sing traditional songs as my wife walked down the aisle during our Jewish ceremony. Yet another unforgettable moment all thanks to Funktion 11!

Amazing! Excellent musicianship, and singing capability. Funktion11 made my wife's birthday an EPIC event. There are bands - then there is Funktion11. The band is unbelievably professional, exudes high energy and offered a wide variety of music that had everyone dancing for hours. Their ability to read the crowd and move with the energy of the room was spot on. People are still talking about the band and how the party was the best they've ever attended. The band made the night. Ronnie, the band leader is very responsive and offered great customer service. Every member of the band was approachable and interacted with the crowd. Funktion11 is an A++ and five stars!

Hey Ronnie - I just wanted to say as well on behalf of Nicolle & I that a huge reason we were able to rock out the dance floor so good was because you & the rest of Funktion11 brought the energy and rocked Union Trust out!! We couldn't be happier with Funktion 11 for our wedding on 7/4/14. Once we went to see Funktion 11 in person, we knew this was the band for us! The band is so professional and plays every song perfectly, adding their own funky and fun twist. The members have choreographed moves, and the audience gets up to dance to be part of their energy without a cheesy invitation to join. Ronnie was a pleasure to work with and made sure everything was covered—down to each song they would play to confirm we were happy. He understood the feel of the wedding and completely gave us the best day ever! We are still getting calls about what an amazing band and how they made the party!

Sherry and I want to take this opportunity to thank you and the entire funktion11 band for the phenomenal job you folks did for our children's, Abby and Jarrod, wedding this past Saturday night. The energy and professionalism that you all bring to your work is amazing! From the singers, to the drummer and percussion, from the brass section to the guitarist and of course the keyboard player (and the sound guy too!) you folks put on quite a show. Yet you make it all so personal for our families and friends that we felt like we had a talented group of friends entertaining us that night. Abby and Jarrod, the bride and groom, were on cloud nine all night and I know one of the primary reasons was that they knew the party was in great hands with funktion11. What more can we say other than thanks so much for making our special night so perfect! They say a wedding reception is only as good as the band, and in our case it was a great party because of the great funktion11 band!!

My husband and I could not have asked for a better night for our wedding due in part to the amazing show Funktion11 put on! After seeing the band perform at another event I was photographing, I knew we had to have this band perform at our wedding, even before my husband and I were engaged! Not only was the band unbelievable and kept the dance floor packed and moving, they were a pleasure to do business with. Ronnie and the band learned songs that were very special to my husband and I and threw a straight dance party for our wedding. We have had countless family and friends tell us how much fun they had at our wedding which I give credit to the band! Our biggest regret is not having a videographer at our wedding to document the wonderful moments of everyone dancing all night this to amazing band! Thank you!

Mike and I wanted to express our sincerest gratitude for your absolutely amazing performance at our wedding on Saturday night at Cipriani, NY. Funktion 11 was such a big hit- we have gotten so many compliments on your amazing sound, your diversity in music and your overall entertaining performance. You did such a great job MC-ing as well. I was beyond thrilled with the music you played- it was just fantastic. Saturday was truly the most memorable night for Mike and myself and the music entertainment was truly one of the biggest parts of that experience. Thank you for putting up with my requests and changes with 1st songs, etc. I can't believe you guys were able to play all of our first songs and they sounded absolutely perfect. I will definitely be the first to recommend Funktion 11 to anyone in need of a great band. I was definitely sad to see you go when your performance was complete. Thank you also for your DJ recommendation- you guys flowed together seamlessly and he was the perfect DJ for our wedding to compliment such an outstanding band.I truly thank you from the bottom of my heart for making my wedding everything I dreamed of and more. We absolutely loved them! We asked them to perform a song as our first dance as husband and wife that they had to learn to play! They did it so well that they gave us chills! We were amazed at their talent and desire to do what we asked. Their goal was to make us happy and they exceeded our expectations. Guests asked us who they were and where we found them. This band was so exceptional that our last words to them were, "We'll be having you again at another big event soon!" Take it from us that when it comes to music, we are very demanding-If you are looking for a band that plays anything and everything like you won't believe, there is no other like Funktion11.

Almost 3 months have passed since our wedding day, and there is not a day that goes by that I don't think about it or of you and your band's mind blowing performance.I never got a chance to thank you for all of Funktion 11's hard work and for making our wedding day so memorable. Our guests are still talking about your performance that night, it was definitely one of the highlights of our wedding. The dance floor was packed all night, and you put on the BEST Hora anyone has EVER seen in their entire lives. All of my non-Jewish friends said they now want to have a Jewish wedding because of you! You and your band set the tone of the entire evening. The vibe was up-beat and the atmosphere was electric. I wish we could do it all over again! Thank you again for being so fabulous throughout the entire process. You and Funktion 11 are truly masters at what you do.
