Energetic, dynamic, and fantastic, Bay Jazz Project features some of the most exciting and experienced musicians in the Mid-Atlantic area. Their wide ranging repetoire—jazz standards, Latin swing, R&B, Dixieland and more- make them perfect for private parties, weddings, Speakeasy themed galas, festivals and more.  Joining Wammie-nominated pianist and band leader Sean Lane is cast of award winning jazz musicians and vocalists.  

The Washington Post calls the band “Searing Hot and Superb!”  Notable appearances include The Kennedy Center for the Arts, Rams Head on Stage, Smithsonian American Art Museum, Baltimore’s famous Lexington Market, Rehoboth Beach Jazz Festival, several Inaugural events in Washington, DC, Wine in the Woods at Merriweather Post Pavilion, and more.   Comfortably playing classic jazz at an intimate setting or hitting some funky original jazz tunes at a festival, Bay Jazz Project is versatile and professional, no matter the setting.

Bay Jazz Project offers different instrumentations depending on your event and venue needs:

• Large Band- Six pieces or greater for stage shows, receptions, galas, and events wanting a larger sound ala Big Band, etc.
• Quintet- Instrumental jazz quartet with a lovely female jazz vocalist added. 
• Quartet- Instrumental jazz combo perfect for background music or a featured jazz show.
