Persona’s major passion in life is music. Whether performing as a vocalist or pianist, listening to music, or guiding others to reach their artistic greatness, she wears her love for music on her sleeve. Persona can be heard singing anywhere she goes. She says, “My favorite thing about being a vocalist is that my voice is my instrument and it’s always packed and ready to go!” She has traveled the world with the St. Olaf Choir performing at venues such as the White House, Carnegie Hall, and Disney Hall. She also performed for the Queen of Norway. Before moving to Charlotte last year she performed throughout Minnesota at private and public venues with smooth jazz sensation Wenso Ashby Featuring Zsame. Now, in North Carolina she is making a name for herself, writing her own music and collaborating with local musicians. Persona performs regularly wit her band Banana Puddin’. She has amazing vocal control and range can sing anything from classical arias to popular rock to soulful gospel!
