artist bio:

Justin Trawick and The Common Good are a touring Americana group consisting of four friends who have been performing on stage together since 2006. Fronted by award-winning songwriter Justin Trawick, the band has opened for such artists as Bob Schneider, Cowboy Mouth, Brett Dennen, Sara Bareilles, Hot Buttered Rum, Blues Traveler, Edwin McCain, Shawn Mullins, Hackensaw Boys, Pat McGee, Suzanne Vega, KC and the Sunshine Band, and the Ying Yang Twins and has received accolades from The Washington Post, Washington Magazine, CNN, and Reuters. Since 2017 the band has sold out Pearl Street Warehouse in DC more than five times and plays regularly at the 9:30 Club, The Hamilton, The Kennedy Center, The State Theater, The Birchmere, and Jammin Java and has done engagements at Wolf Trap and Audi Stadium. They’re often playing on the road in clubs, festivals, weddings, and private and public events.

The band’s energetic blend of uniquely interpreted cover songs (Top 40, Classic Rock, Hip Hop, Country, and more) and catchy, memorable originals, along with the band’s professionalism and easy-going attitude, makes Justin Trawick and The Common Good the total package for a rustic country wedding, a fun backyard party, a summer music festival, an upbeat or themed corporate event, and more.

“Our very own John Mayer” – Washington Post

“Winner of 2013 Wammies for “Song of the Year” and “Folk- Contemporary Vocalist.”
