DJ Jason Jiggs is a music guru that is based out of South Florida. His dedication and love for music is something that has been a part of him for as long as he can remember. While in college at The University of Florida, Jason worked for event companies, was co-social chair of his fraternity, and did marketing for electronic music events in Gainesville. After graduating with an Advertising degree combined with a Business concentration, Jason decided to pursue his dreams and love for music by becoming a full-time professional DJ.
Fast-forward to now, and whether it is starting the party, or setting the perfect vibe, his versatility and talent is unmatched. Jason’s wide variety of experiences in the industry makes him the perfect DJ for any event. He has played at premier restaurants, private events, clubs, festivals, and hotels, there’s nothing he can’t do.
Having spent thousands of hours to researching music and developing skills, his dedication shows in his performances. Jason reads the crowd with analytical precision and caters to who is in the room, not just what he wants to play. You will often hear him using his skills to actively blend songs to make unique remixes and mash-ups in genres such as house, top 40, nu disco, indie dance, disco, funk, oldies, electro swing, and everything in between. Each and every set is unique and different.
With over 200 gigs played in 2018, Jason’s resume boasts an impressive lineup. He has performed at events all over Florida, including Palm Beach, Fort Lauderdale, Miami, Tampa, Gainesville, Marco Island, and Orlando. He has also opened up for famous DJ Patrick M, played internationally in Germany, and at a major festival with 40,000 attendees, Okeechobee Music Festival. On top of that, Jason is no amateur when it comes to performing for celebrities. He has recently played private events for Venus Williams and CEO/President of the Florida Panthers, Matt Caldwell.
With his latest DJ mix hitting the top 50 “indie dance†charts on Mixcloud and peaking at #16, he has been a hit at top restaurants in Palm Beach county, such as Buccan, Bice, Meat Market, Kapow Noodle Bar, Lemongrass Asian Bistro, The Butcher Shop, and currently has residencies at Ramen Lab Eatery and Rocco’s Tacos. Some clubs on his recent resume include Voltaire, Camelot, Dirty Martini, 215 Speakeasy, Roxy’s, and he brought in 2019 (NYE) at his 2018 Residency (the famous) Player’s Club, Wellington.
