Barefoot Nellie & Co. is a smooth driving Bluegrass band based out of Chattanooga, TN. Â The group was founded in 2007 by Eric and August Bruce. Â In 2010 BFN&CO released their debut CD South River. Â In 2012, PBS TV Series “Song of the Mountains”, Season 7, Episode 5 featured BFN&CO. 2014 has proven to be an extra fun year with Bluegrass band contest wins at Uncle Dave Macon Days in Murfreesboro, TN and Bluegrass on the Plains in Auburn, AL where the band won recording time at Mountain Fever Studios in Willis, VA.
BFN&Co. compiles impressive driving, darker  arrangements, blending standard traditional bluegrass with a more innovative approach.  The band’s heart lies in writing, arranging and playing originals that will be featured on their new project due out mid 2015. Â
