Akintunde is a Dove Award Winning 25 Year Comedy Veteran with scores of television appearances. He is, also, a sought after screen and television writer with over 350 original television episodes of writing credits. Akntunde has written for the “NAACP Image Awards”, “It’s Showtime At The Apollo and the BET Awards and worked as a Head Writer and Producer for BET Networks’, “The Monique Show”. Akintunde has produced several comedy based television specials and served as Executive Producer and Director of a feature-length Documentary film. In addition to appearances on BET, TBS, The Word Network, TBN, The Gospel Music Channel, and The Stellars Awards, Akintunde has been on multiple national tours in recent years. He toured with Pastors Creflo and Taffi Dollar on the “Change Experience” Tour; has been featured at T.D. Jakes’ MegaFest and Woman Thou Art Loosed Conferences, and at scores of Marriage Ministry events, including at Lakewood Church in Houston where Joel Olsteen is Pastor. Akintunde has also been featured on Pat Robinson’s 700 Club. As a Speaker and Youth Advocate, having Co-founded a mentoring program for At-Risk Youth, Akintunde facilitated an Afterschool program for over 150 youth in partnership with the South Carolina Department of Education. Additionally, he has been a featured Keynote Speaker for various organizations including The South Carolina Primary Health Care Association, The Child Development Council of Franklin County, Jasper/Beaufort County Headstart Program, Absolute Total Care, Inc., Hope Health, Inc., Richland One and Richland Two School districts in Columbia, South Carolina and the South Carolina Employee Association.
