Naina and Josh’s multicultural wedding was a beautiful, full-day affair. To celebrate both Naina’s Hindu and Josh’s Catholic backgrounds, the couple opted for two ceremonies held throughout the day at Tranquility Farm, a serene horse farm located in Northern Virginia about an hour east of Washington, DC.

The day began with a traditional Hindu wedding ceremony. Dhol players signaled the start of the baraat, or groom’s procession, where Josh made a grand entrance on horseback.  Naina arrived looking stunning in a red sari – the same one worn by her mother on her wedding day.

After a Hindu ceremony filled with ritual and sentiment, the couple joined guests for a lunchtime feast consisting of classic Indian dishes.

Following a short break, it was time for the Catholic ceremony to begin. A cellist played as the wedding party made their way down the aisle.  The couple exchanged heartfelt vows, and then it was time to party.

Naina and Josh chose The Krewe band to play during the reception. The 8-piece band features three phenomenal vocalists and performs hits spanning multiple genres.

Many thanks to Rachel E. H. Photography for sharing the gorgeous images from Naina and Josh’s big day.
