It’s always fun to see our couples’ weddings featured in top publications across the country. This week’s Real Wedding features Becca and Matt who just celebrated their first anniversary on May 5, 2019. Recently, they shared details of their courtship, engagement and massive wedding celebration featuring the band, Modern Luxe in the March-April 2019 edition of Bethesda Magazine.
Dock 5, an industrial event space directly above the Union Market in Washington, D.C., played host to both the ceremony and reception. With 267 guests, the couple knew they wanted a huge party. For that reason, they enlisted the help of Modern Luxe band to create the blowout atmosphere they envisioned.
Scaling in size from six to ten pieces, Modern Luxe is a versatile wedding band. The band features two powerhouse vocalists and brings unsurpassed energy to the stage. Their commitment to excellence both on and off the stage makes them a favorite among couples and event planners.
In the Bethesda Magazine article, Becca shares, “The band killed it. They were so good.” For their final song, they played “Bohemian Rhapsody” by Queen. “Everyone was singing along and jumping up and down.”
