It’s no secret that we are huge fans of The Big Fake Wedding. Held in major cities across the country, the event brings together the city’s finest wedding vendors to execute a swoon-worthy “fake” wedding (the bride and groom are already married and participate in an often tear-inducing vow renewal ceremony). Engaged couples attend as guests and get to see wedding vendors in action.
ECE has been partnering with The Big Fake Wedding for several years. We were thrilled to see the event was coming to Charlotte, NC and jumped at the chance to participate.
You guys, this might have been one of the most beautiful fake weddings we’ve ever attended! Held at Catawba Brewing Company, it was a romantic, Boho-lover’s dream. And, the band? Sol Fusion SLAYED this party. Every person in the house was on the dance floor – vendors included! We actually heard from people the next day who said they were sore from dancing so much. Now THAT is a success!
We cannot say enough great things about the vendors we worked with during this event. Some were old friends and some we had the pleasure of meeting for the first time, but all were creative, professional and such a blast to work alongside. We are especially thankful to Red Cardinal Studio whose gorgeous images we are sharing below!
