Don’t you just love a beautiful winter wedding? We are swooning over Lauren and Elliott’s Richmond wedding held in February at the Science Museum of Virginia. The couple enlisted the talented team at Glint Events to make their dream wedding day a reality.
Following a traditional ceremony at Centenary United Methodist Church, guests were transported from downtown to the Science Museum of Virginia. Lauren and Elliott’s black-tie reception took place at the Dewey Gottwald Center – the most recent addition to the museum’s campus. With a contemporary design featuring sleek lines and floor-to-ceiling glass walls, the building is stunning. It’s the perfect venue for couples looking to host a modern and elegant wedding.
Dramatic lighting and a jaw-dropping reception space greeted Lauren and Elliott’s guests as they arrived. A jeweled tone color palette mixed with gold elements created a moody, sophisticated vibe. During the seated dinner, guests dined on cuisine from Mosaic Catering.
When it was time to party, Gentlemen & Their Lady had everyone at this Richmond wedding on the dance floor! The 9-piece band is a favorite among wedding clients due to their ability to appeal to every generation. The band played hits from James Brown to Adele, and as a result guests of all ages found themselves lighting up the dance floor.
We are so grateful to JP Lord Photography for sharing the inspiring images from Lauren and Elliott’s wedding day.
