As a skilled, yet self taught pianist/vocalist from Toledo Ohio,
Mikes musical career began at the age of 14 when he received
his first paid performance with a rock band from Northwest Ohio.
From that moment, it was clear that music was his calling. Not
long after that he was performing with various bands 3-5 nights a
week between Detroit, MI and Toledo OH. By age 17, he had won
several awards. By 18 Mike was offered a position in a touring
rock band based in North Carolina and immediately went on the
road. Since then he has shared the stage with countless Acts
including Lynryd Skynryd, Bad Company, Cheap Trick, 38
Special, The Allman Brothers.
Mike eats, sleeps and breathes music and currently performs
sitting behind his Big Red Piano as a Solo, or a Band. Not to be
confused with a Dueling Piano Show, The Red Piano show is
100% Mike and 100% Entertainment. With a vocal range that can
hit anything from Journey to Bruno Mars to Billy Joel, both his
playing and singing will leave you in awe. He is regarded as one
of the “go-to†keyboard players in town and is quite well known
for his high energy, as well as his fun and positive presence, and
charisma on stage.
Residing in Charlotte, NC Mike believes that music is therapeutic
and has a passion teaching his craft. He currently teaches youth
students piano and vocal lessons at Bold Music when he is not
out performing.
