Entertainment so memorable that hundreds of people are still cheering from the stands.
A few years ago I became chair of the Performing Arts for the Virginia Highlands Festival and I am constantly looking for the best acts for our events within our moderate budget. The kick off event is the Patrons event and it has to be good, real good or I will hear about it and we will not have a great start of events. This year I remembered a group that I presented a number of years ago and I felt they would be perfect, I then called you, Kris, to ask if you could find Jane Powell. I found out that you work with her and was pleased because I knew that this would now be easy to arrange. Jane and her trio played here last night and were a great success! Not only did they do a great performance, they were so easy to work with, it was the kind of job I like: enjoyable from both the presenter's side and the audience side.
