Invitation was formed in 1995 by Jerry and Jessica Lynn along with pianist Dr. Gary Hill (who now resides in Charleston, SC).
Our goal was and is to create a fun party and dance band that could play any style of music well and have a good time doing it. To accomplish this goal we needed to be unlike many of the bands which populate the event market. We needed to have full time musicians in the band.
Because of this we are able to deliver everything from Classical to Katy Perry and most everything in between. Some events require this and we can do it.
Our members have performed for Inaugural events, for Presidents and members of Congress and the Supreme Court, for many top celebrities including Justin Timberlake, Billy Ray Cyrus, The Three Mo\’ Tenors, Carl Anderson and many others.
It is still our goal to deliver a memorable event, tailored to your needs, and have a blast doing it!
