Blue Plantation is an acoustic string band with a diverse variety of authentic musical styles. These styles include Bluegrass, Irish, Folk, Country, Swing, and Jazz. They have created their own niche market and specialize in Wedding Ceremonies, Dinner Rehearsals, Oyster Roasts, Pig Pickins, Corporate Events, Festivals, Private Parties, Family Functions, and Local Music Venues.
The band is made up of four musicians with a wide background of musical experience and a high level of expertise. The band is hard-working and has been performing together for 12 years in the Charleston, SC area. Charleston, South Carolina is a modern day cultural melting pot, which leaves Blue Plantation with the opportunity to serve up the musical main course for Charlestonians and tourists alike.
