What makes Black Lion unique is that they perform current to classic cover songs in authentic Reggae Fashion.
Specializing in festivals, receptions, public and private events, Black Lion is sure to keep you singing and smiling as you dance your cares away.
In November of 2014 band leader Eric Jennings came up with the concept of combining familiar songs positively packaged in authentic Reggae music.
Eric recorded a few songs in the studio and quickly realized that he was onto something worthwhile. After completing successful auditions for drums, bass and keyboards Black Lion was born February 2015.
Within 5 months Black Lion debuted by headlining The Reggae Nights Concerts Series in Charleston, SC. For a band that had never been heard of with no following Black played 5 more shows in 2015; including Atlanta’s famous Inman Park Festival and The Sandy Springs Heritage Park Festival.
They also returned to North Charleston July 4th 2015 to play The River Front Festival. Black Lion’s headed back in June 2016 to play Reggae Nights Concerts Series for the second time.
Black Lion also has a 7 show residency July 2nd to August 13th at Bahama Breeze Restaurant of Kennesaw, Ga.
