Moonshine Society delivers high energy roots rock, blues, jazz, and old school R&B in a style guaranteed to keep audiences dancing, toes tapping, and the drinks flowing. An internationally touring group bringing blues to China, Cuba, Japan, and throughout the US , the band is comprised of A-List players including powerful vocalist Black Betty (inductee into the Blues Hall of Fame in 2012).

The band has performed with George Clinton & Funkadelic, Snoop Dogg, Tab Benoit, Johnny Winter, Peaches, Roomful of Blues, WuTang Clan, Everclear, Puddle of Mud, Drowning Pool, and more. Members of the Society have performed and recorded with artists such as John Mayer, Muddy Waters, John Lee Hooker, Albert King, Betty Lyvette, Stevie Ray Vaughn, The Nighthawks, Brian Eno, and Pinetop Perkins, among others.

Moonshine Society has had the pleasure of performing at Inaugural Balls, college events, festivals, weddings, corporate parties, casinos, and night clubs, thrilling audiences with a fresh, younger take on the classic American roots style. Perfect for events that want something “a little different” than your typical wedding band, Moonshine Society brings class and sass all in one fun package.

Have a small performance space? No problem, Moonshine Society is available as an acoustic trio or electric four piece. Want that big, authentic roots and soul sound? The Society can add a Hammond B3 player, blues harmonica player, and full horn section.
