Amy is a Charlotte native who’s played venues in the Carolinas since 2000. Most people say she sounds like Sheryl Crow, Gwen Stephani or Edie Brickell. Amy is a singer-songwriter with 2 CDs and a 3rd underway. She plays as a 5 piece band, power trio, duo or solo. Her sets are tailored to the vibe of the room and are usually a mix of pop, rock and americana covers and originals.

She covers artists like The Beatles, Tom Petty, Van Morrison, The Police, Led Zepplin, No Doubt, Sheryl Crow, Edie Brickell, The Pretenders, The Revivalists, John Mayer, Jewel, Gov’t Mule, Cage the Elephant, Stone Temple Pilots, Melissa Etheridge, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Carole King, Missy Higgins, Gillian Welch, Damien Rice, Hendrix and more.

She has worked with a ton of great musicians such as Dave Vergato (bass) from Charlotte Squawks/Natalie Merchant, Greg Lilley (Drums/backing vocals) of Lunatic Fringe/Greg Lilley Band, Woody Mitchell (guitar) of the Stragglers, Adam Nitti (bass) of Renaissance Man Records, Tom Kuhn (bass/backing vocals) of the Rank Outsiders/Red Rocking Chair, Terry Lindsay (drums) of many a jazz band from PA to CLT, Marvin Duke Straton (bass/backing vocals) of Dickey Betts/Boz Scaggs and many more of Charlotte’s best.

Amy is a forceful and energetic acoustic and electric guitar player. Her originals span the gamut from rock to blues to spanish flava to americana with a touch of country.
