Meghan Shanley is originally from Virginia Beach, VA. She grew up playing sports and didn’t even realize she could sing until the age of 17. She gave singing a try because she needed a talent to compete in a Miss America preliminary pageant for college scholarship. Although she studied to be a broadcast journalist, music quickly became her passion. In 2001 she won the title of Miss Virginia and competed at the Miss America pageant later that year. After an incredible year traveling the state of VA speaking and singing, she knew she had to take the leap and move to Nashville. There was no other option but to pursue her love of music. In the years since, she has recorded two albums and performed all over the world. She sang at the wedding reception of the Food Network’s Paula Deen as well as performed an original song that she wrote on the Hollywood Christmas Parade. For the last 7 years Meghan has been a lead vocalist for ECE’s very own super high energy band Jessie’s Girls. Having been on the performance side as well as the sales side is an excellent combination for any agent!
