Born on Long Island and raised in Richmond, Virginia, James has cultivated a rich background in communication and digital media. After earning a degree in Communication Studies with a focus on Digital Media from Longwood University, he began his career with an internship at PBS Richmond in 2017, followed by a role in the Longwood University Marketing Department.
In 2017, James started 96th Street Media, where he worked on marketing materials for small business development centers and created social media content for nationally touring artists, including Excision, Gryffin, Jeff Mills, and Cedric Gervais. He later served as a videographer and editor for Letterpress Communications, directing and producing video content for various clients in Virginia.
James continued to hone his skills as a Video Producer at Evergreen Enterprises in 2019, before taking on the role of Digital Content Manager at Open Agency in 2021. In this position, he developed marketing assets for music venues, restaurants, and businesses across Washington D.C. and its neighboring counties. Most recently, he has been working as a Digital Content Manager at ECE.
An accomplished content creator, James has received accolades such as the Virginia Fine Arts Museum Gold Key for photography and has been featured on RVA Magazine’s Instagram and in VIP Alexandria Magazine. Currently residing in Charlotte, he continues to explore the intersection of art and digital storytelling.
