Hailing from Charlottesville, VA, Carter has been around music ever since he was a young kid. His father and Aunt showed him the rockstar life at an early age, and ever since then, Carter has loved live music and everything behind the scenes. Carter is a graduate of Hampden-Sydney College, where he fell in love with the live music industry attending and working festivals, booking bands for his fraternity, and doing everything he could in between to learn and grow in the business.
Since graduating in 2018, Carter has had the chance to learn and grow with some of the best in our industry, including a stint with Peter Shapiro at The Capitol Theater and LOCKN Festival, two venues that shaped his passion and love for live music as a fan. He then took the jump after college and launched Repsy, a fellow entertainment booking agency that took a more nuanced approach with booking events online, and has brought his knowledge, experience and expertise to ECE! At the end of the day, Carter is a music fan, and he brings this passion and approach to every one of his clients he works with and every event he produces.
In his free time, Carter loves to get out and see live music with friends and fellow music lovers, and find the newest disc golf course to play. He also occasionally hops behind the drum kit to play rock and roll with whoever needs him!
